| WELCOME!! Northgate Independent is an Independent Open Class winter guard from Newnan, GA. 2010 will be our 6th year as a competitive unit, and in our short history we have been quite successful on the local, regional and national levels. We compete locally in the Southern Association for Performance Arts (SAPA) as well as with Winter Guard International (WGI) for regional competitions and World Championships. For the 2010 season, we will attend regionals in Nashville, TN and Orlando, FL. 2010 also marks our first year of partnership with the Atlanta CorpsVets Drum and Bugle Corps.
